Fees Regulations
How we set our fees
All statutory fees on this price list have been confirmed by Parliament through statutory instruments and came into force on 1 October 2009.
The only fees not set by statutory instrument are new products (LLP electronic documents, electronic change of name for companies, administrative restoration and applications to make an address unavailable for public inspection), bulk products, microfiche, fax copies and newspaper proprietor searches. These have been administratively set and came into force on 1 October 2009.

Companies House will consider requests for individual bespoke products. Where the information is not available in any of its other products, Companies House will consider developing a bespoke product to address an individual’s specific data needs.
Written details of the exact requirements will need to be provided to ensure the products can be accurately costed. All our fees are based on cost recovery principles and aim to recover our costs, plus a 3.5% return to HM Treasury.
Customers will be contacted when the costs have been calculated to ascertain if they still wish to proceed with the request. The product will not be released to a customer until the fee has been paid.
