Updated 22/09/09 - Important Notice regarding Companies House service availability during Companies Act transition October 2009

We are now approaching the final implementation of the Companies Act 2006 which will take place on 1st October 2009. To achieve this requires significant changes to Companies House systems, which will take time to implement.

Consequently there is essential work that we need to undertake between Wednesday 30th September and Monday 5th October inclusive. During the period our aim is to minimise any disruption to our services although we anticipate some effect on them as follows:

Please note that when filing documents they will be given the date of receipt regardless of when they are processed and appear on our output services. There may be some delays in the information being updated on our public register during this period.

Northern Ireland:

The Northern Ireland Company Registry will integrate with Companies House on 1st October, for a UK wide company registry. More details on the integration. To allow the integration of the database and systems to happen the following services will be affected:
