"Edinburgh Office Move

To minimise disruption to our customers, the move will take place over the Bank Holiday Weekend of Monday 25th May 2009, when all Companies House offices are closed.

So that the move can be completed seamlessly, the Edinburgh office will close its doors to the public at Castle Terrace, at 12.00 noon on Friday 22nd May 2009.

Incorporations, Changes of Name, Limited Partnership Searches and Certified Copy Applications:

All applications for Scottish same day services will have a cut off point of 11.00am.

Applications received by our New Companies team in Edinburgh will be processed as normal up until 12.00noon.

Delivery of Documents

The existing out of office hours letterbox at Castle Terrace will be operational until midnight on Tuesday 26th May 2009.

The out of office hours letterbox at the new offices will be operational from that time.

There is a mail redirect in place for any documents that may already be in the postal system at the time we move.

Please remember to send all documents to our new address from Friday 22nd May 2009, as documents sent to our old address after this date may not reach us.

Customers are assured that rigid procedures are in place to guarantee the safe and secure transfer of all documents and paperwork delivered to us prior to the move, to our new offices.

Accounts must be delivered to Companies House on or before the due date. Delays in transit will not be accepted as excuses for late delivery and even if accounts are delivered a day late a penalty will be levied, and penalties may not be waived.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience, and confirm that our telephone, DX and LP numbers remain unchanged.

We will be operating ‘Business as Usual’ when we re-open at the new address on Tuesday 26th May at 9.00am.
