Companies House to Change Contact Centre Number - Update

We have continued to amend customer correspondence, to reflect the new Contact Centre telephone number (0303 1234 500), which has resulted in over 75% of calls now received via this number.

A large number of changes to correspondence are due to take place as part of the 2006 Companies Act implementation. Until that happens later this year, some correspondence will continue to carry the old 0870 number.

A small number of customers have informed us of coverage issues from some areas, where the new number is reported as unavailable. We encourage customers to also report availability issues of the 0303 number to their own telephony providers.

We will pass these concerns onto OFCOM and apologise to affected customers for any inconvenience this issue has caused.
